large room with a lovely view but some dining issues
The room we stayed in was impressively spacious with a stunning view of the castle from the window which added a lovely touch to our stay. The bathroom was meticulously cleaned and featured a deep bath that was perfect for unwinding after a long day.
Sadly, the gammon was rather dry and I missed having gravy with my pie.

Couple looking for a cozy getaway
It was a great stay, with a spacious room that was spotless and a lovely deep bath that my wife enjoyed. The staff were welcoming, bringing us a complimentary drink while we waited, a nice touch for sure.
It wasn't exactly budget-friendly but still acceptable for what we got.

The cozy bar, with its real log fires and exposed wooden beams, gave me the warmest of welcomes. The charm and character throughout made me feel right at home, just like a snug blanket on a chilly night.
More accessible seating options would be appreciated.

Cozy spot with character!
We spent 2 nights here and loved the charm! Our room had a vintage feel with a comfy 4-poster bed. The dinner we had in the bar was delish, especially the hot beef sandwiches. Just wish the parking wasn't such a headache. a solid stay, and the staff were super friendly.
